Part of a joint project to redesign the London Underground's stations, making it a less stressful and more positive experience. The basic model itself was made by another group member, all rendering is my own.
Interactive flooring - moving arrows guide crowds along paths to the less busy parts of the train
Digital tube map - switches between map, weather, line status etc to reduce the amount of signage in the station
Daytime lighting - Varies from natural blue (day) to artificial white (night) depending on time of day to reduce the effect of poor lighting on passengers
Platform seating - space for passengers to wait in relative comfort; also contains A/C units to maintain air flow. Seats are positioned between train doors and thereby also aid crowd flow by only allowing one direction of movement to the doors for outgoing passengers.
